Finally, I have a job!

I was hired on as a long term relief/substitute teacher at a local Auckland high school.  After meeting the staff I am very excited.  I will be teaching two classes of year 9 English, and three year 10 social studies.  School starts Tuesday, so as usual I have to get everything together last minute.

  1. Congratulations! I hope that it is a brilliant school and that the kids are nice and friendly 😀

  2. Congrats. Looking forward to seeing how teaching in NZ compares to the US.

  3. Congratulations ! I wish you a good start and looking forward to seeing how was the first week at school !

    Greetings ,

  4. Congrats on the job! My family is considering moving to NZ from Arizona and your blog has helped sway me toward the move. Everything in your pro column I agree with. Tucson is being overun with drug dealers and gang bangers. My children are adults, but I want them to come with us. I don’t want my grandchildren to grow up with the intolerance and ugly ideas in America.

  5. We’re waiting to see how the job is going. Please write more.
